Samsung televisions are part of the family

For years we have heard about parents who use the television to “babysit” their kids. It’s also been mentioned as the cause for the breakdown in the family when you focus on television all the time especially during meals rather than talking.

You could try and fight it or you can embrace your television which is apparently what Samsung has decided to do. They now show television commercials where the TV is practically a member of the family.

Everyone comes in and uses the voice and hand commands to operate the new TV. It shows family members talking directly to the television, “Hi, TV” and eventually you see the baby has learned to talk and now she can get the television to turn on.

Over the years the television has grown to at the very least feel like a member of the family. It has become the gathering spot for families to watch their favorite shows. Samsung is now giving you more reasons to incorporate the TV into your day.

The interactive TV lets you do more than watch it lets you use the internet and search. The new television lets you use it for things you might have traditionally used your computer for in the past.

Since television is like a member of the family, I guess it’s time it did some work around the house as well.

What do you think; do you like the idea of having more uses for your television?
