Pizza has become a serious business over the past few years.  At least that’s the thinking of BFG 9000 founder and chief creative director, Gary Graf.

This is why as the agency for Little Caesar’s Pizza chain he is working to bring the fun back to the world of pizza. They are bringing back the chain’s former ‘Pizza! Pizza!’ ad campaign.

It’s been 15 years since their last major campaign used this tagline and they have decided the best strategy going forward is to stick to using something that was already well known.

When it first launched the tagline it was to advertise their discounts and value of getting a two-pizza offer. Now they are promoting the value by offering a $5 Hot-N-Ready pizza or $8 for a large three- meat pizza.

Because of their emphasis on value, the downturn in the economy didn’t hit the chain as badly as some of their competitors. They have been able to grow and now feel ready to come out and build on the strong brand recognition they have with consumers.

Pizza has become a staple in the American diet. From the independent pizza shops to large chains all have their own recipes and each has its own price tag.  Little Caesar wants to offer good pizza for a good value to capture the market for those looking for a tasty pie that won’t break the bank.

Do you remember the Pizza! Pizza! Tagline and will that remind you to check out your local Little Caesars?
