It can be tough to get the best talent for your organization. Once of the challenges is how
people find you and engage with you online.
Knowing your candidates and how they find out about opportunities is a big piece of the puzzle. Mobile has become a major way to access the internet rather than the traditional desktop computer.
This means organizations need to offer a mobile friendly career site so candidates can search your opportunities and more importantly apply to your site when they find the job they want. If they can’t do this easily you risk frustrating them and having them decide they don’t want to apply to your organization.
Being a leader in this is one way to insure you show potential candidates why they want to work for your organization. Abrazo Health Care in Phoenix Arizona is the first healthcare system to recognize that they were losing qualified candidates when they couldn’t apply online. Abrazzo has set up a mobile website for candidates to search for jobs and apply directly to the applicant tracking system ATS using their phones.
This is giving candidates the advantage to search with their phone and a desktop. Candidates are able to start on one and finish on the other if they choose. This flexibility is showing clients can search more pages and stay longer on the site to learn more about Abrazo and their entire organization.
Using mobile is becoming more wide spread. Companies that don’t offer the mobile search and ability to apply online are going to lose out on the talent they need to compete in their industry.
