Job titles need to reflect the job skills

These days it seems every company takes pride in titles and creating job descriptions that are specific for their organization. Internally it might be good for employees to be classified with certain titles but if no one outside of the company knows what these titles mean then it can eventually cause a problem.
For example I saw a recent post for Customer Support Analyst. The title doesn’t really tell you what the job entails or what qualifications you would need to do this job. After reading the description it was for a call center post.
